What are you celebrating?

  "The behaviors that are celebrated are repeated... the values that are celebrated are repeated. If you intentionally or unintentionally celebrate something that is in conflict with your vision, the vision won't stick."    

What are we celebrating? 

In our first two years as a district team (2018-20) we committed to celebrating the "I Heart NC" storyline and Nelson County PRIDE through weekly celebrations across the district. To be frank, we allowed the pandemic to create some inconsistencies in celebrating teachers, students, and community. As we move into the end of this year and the summer we are forced to come back to the future of how we want to best celebrate what we value as a district. I'm excited to deepen those conversations.
